Each link from the raw material to finished products involves the food safety. Most of food industries shall be subject to the food safety inspection standard certification to ensure that all program documents and work are linked each other. Therefore, the space shall be considered or reserved at the design of pests’ prevention proposal for cooperation. The details in pest control shall be integrated in the production and management in food factory.
Control Points
- Considering the food safety, the chemical approach shall be used less and the prevention concept is the priority. Try to use physical methods such as sticky catch, trapping and killing and repelling to prevent the pests
- Warehouse area shall be kept clean and try to guarantee the structural plugging in such region is intact to reduce the risk of rodent invasion. It is also required to detect and control pests in warehousing area for a long time
- Production & processing zone, locker room, entrance and exit are all main positions under the harassment of flies. The anti-pest facilities shall be perfected
- Staff canteen, kitchen and garbage chamber are key positions for prevention of the factory, easily breeding the mosquitoes and flies. It is required to control pests from the source

- Use safe & efficient gel baits and cockroaches’ granules for the control and prevention of cockroaches. In terms of rodent prevention, we will establish three lines of defense: placing rodent bait monitoring stations in the periphery, using sticky mouse traps in the inner environment and plug seams and holes. The sticky trap type fly lamps are also installed at the entrances and exits of workshops and warehouses
- Monthly detect the pest density, evaluate the site pest conditions, adjust the prevention methods based on the site conditions, and ask for the client’s assistance to guarantee the food safety in factory and increase the passing rate of food safety audit
- Our technical supervisor or quality inspector shall re-visit our clients and inspect the service quality regularly
